In response to a rise in active COVID-19 cases, the Pune Municipal Corporation has extended the operations of its 800-bed jumbo COVID hospital for an additional three months.
Additionally, five COVID Care Centres with a total of 1,050 beds are being set up to accommodate patients with mild or no symptoms.
Authorities are urging residents to adhere to safety protocols, including wearing masks and maintaining social distancing, to curb the spread of the virus.
